'Changing the world, one life at a time'

21-25 April 2011, The Conference Centre, Telford.

The BUC held its first youth congress in the British Isles for 12 years over the Easter weekend, 21 - 25 April 2011. Over 600 youth particiapted in an event themed i-Change, u-Change, wii-Change.  Be the change you want to see in the world.

Andrew Davis

Yvonne BauwensThe weekend was co-hosted by Andrew Davis from London (left) and Yvonne Bauwens from Crieff (right).  Their spirited interaction not only kept the youth awake, but was a positive way to share information, lead towards worship, and help people to develop friendships.
This event is now over - but re-l
ive the highlights by viewing our two Picture Galleries, Thursday-Friday and Sabbath-Sunday.

A full report of the weekend is in BUC News 730 for 29 April 2011 and will appear in a future Messenger.

Our theme song comes from Stirlingshire, Scotland, and is the composition of Yvonne Bauwens. In an interview with Victor Hulbert she explains how she came to write the song and the background to her faith.  You can watch the praise team sing to "Chance to change" on the secMedia you-tube site.  Four short daily reports are also available there.

In depth interviews with all five guest speakers are available on the Hope TV Uk website. Pictured left to right:
