We are delighted to let you know that the BUC Youth Department will be organising a Youth Retreat at Hays Wood Retreat Centre, Setch Rd, Blackborough End, Kings Lynn, PE32 1XU.
This is a residential visit with overnight stays on Thursday 28th, Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 1st May 2022, returning home on Monday 2nd May 2022. Everyone will need to make their own transport arrangements to and from the Centre; an evening meal will be provided for Thursday 28th April. Please aim to arrive by 7.00pm, then evening programme will start at 8.30pm.
Whilst at Hays Wood, everyone will be able to take part in a range of spiritual, physical and social activities.
The accommodation is in cabins with either 2,3, or 4 bedrooms with a main bathroom and en-suite in the master bedroom. Cabins can sleep between 4 and 8 people depending on the configuration. Each cabin will be gender specific and you will be required to adhere to the Code of Conduct for behaviour and safety. Unless booking as a group (according to room configuration) be prepared to share with someone you don’t know! There will be a zero tolerance for bad/disrespectful behaviour and perpetrators will be sent home. Common courtesy and decency is expected at all times.
The event will finish after a light lunch on the Monday 2nd May, and it is expected that everyone will have left the site by 3pm.
