Global Youth Day 2020

Global Youth Day 2020
Plans are in place around the British Union this year to make this the most community-minded Global Youth Day ever!
The live broadcast will begin at 5pm GMT from Greenwich Church in London and anyone running an activity is invited to share their photos and videos. As many as possible will be shared during the BUC segment of the livestream. Please use this link to upload your media.
Whether you are feeding the homeless, handing out free hugs, visiting elderly residents in a home or litter-picking, as youth you will be performing acts of kindness in the community and Being the Sermon on the day.

Not thought of an idea for your GYD yet? Look up the Great British Spring Clean website and either join a local litter pick or organise one of your own. It's a simple idea to bring the youth and your church members together on the day.
Or you could plant a tree locally this autumn. The Woodland Trust offers free tree packs (order now for November delivery).  You'll need to speak with your local parks authority or council to find a suitable location where you will be able to plant your tree(s). It's a wonderful way to provide an oxygen boost to your community!
